Green Aventurine

Traditionally associated with luck, opportunity, emotional renewal, optimism, creativity, and the heart chakra.

Obsidian

Traditionally associated with grounding, protection, strong boundaries, truth, and self-reflection.

Together

A balance of growth and protection—aventurine welcomes new possibilities while obsidian keeps the wearer grounded.

Green aventurine is a quartz variety; obsidian is natural volcanic glass. Crystal meanings are spiritual traditions rather than scientifically proven medical effects. Gently clean with a soft damp cloth; avoid chemicals and prolonged soaking.

The artist behind the magic

About the Artist

I grew up in California and have spent much of my life moving from place to place. Through every new chapter, I’ve always been drawn to beautiful things—nature, stories, strange little treasures, and anything that sparks a sense of wonder.

For a long time, though, I never thought of myself as an artist.

My older brother was the artist in our family. As kids, he seemed to be better than me at everything, and somewhere along the way I decided I couldn’t compete. In my child’s mind, if I wasn’t going to be the best at art, I wasn’t going to try at all.

So I didn’t.

Years later, while working a job with a little downtime, I started drawing my favorite cartoon characters on the carts I used at work simply because I was bored. People began stopping to ask who had drawn them. When I told them it was me, they were genuinely surprised—and they kept encouraging me to keep creating.

That encouragement changed my life.

What started as doodles became paintings. Paintings became gifts. Gifts became commissions. Before I knew it, I had discovered something I’d spent years believing I couldn’t do.

Today, Loom Briar is where all of those discoveries come together.

Here you’ll find original paintings, whimsical clothing, art prints, woven blankets, hand-painted thermochromic keepsake boxes, and little treasures inspired by forests, moonlight, folklore, and imagination. Every piece begins with my own artwork and is created with the hope that it brings a little wonder into someone’s everyday life.

Thank you for visiting my little corner of the world and for supporting independent artists. It truly means more than I can say.

I hope that whatever you bring home feels like a tiny doorway into a place where moonlight, moss, and imagination still have a little magic left to share.
